How long does it take to recover from polynucleotide treatment?
Patients generally resume their normal activities immediately after treatment. Regarding aftercare, it's recommended to avoid wearing makeup for 12 hours and refrain from laser treatments or excessive heat for three weeks. SPF should be diligently applied for two to three weeks, and exposure to sunlight should be avoided.
Who shouldn't get polynucleotides?
While most people can use polynucleotides without any problems, they're not suitable for vegans because they come from fish. Even though they're purified, so allergic reactions are rare, people with seafood allergies can still safely have them. There have been no reported allergic reactions in clinical trials. But, if you're pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, you shouldn't use polynucleotides.
What happens during a polynucleotide treatment?
Before the treatment, a numbing cream might be put on the patient's skin, especially if there are lots of injections. Depending on where it's needed, the polynucleotides can be injected in two ways. The first way uses very small needles, which might leave tiny bumps on the skin for a few hours. Or, a blunt-tipped tube called a cannula might be used to spread the product. The whole process usually takes around 20-30 minutes.
